1. What This Website Is

This privately run reference resource operates independently of government. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official criminal history checks, or submits paperwork for a user.

Its pages point to Meade County record custodians, including the Sheriff, Kentucky courts, the Kentucky State Police central repository, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Public-agency requests may fall under the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, or separate court access rules. Certain pages also display search tools operated by outside providers.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you must not:

• Violate a local, Kentucky, or federal law through use of the site
• Rely on site information to threaten, stalk, or harass another person
• Use site content for employment, housing, credit, lending, or insurance decisions
• Attempt to enter protected systems or obtain access without permission

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Site content and linked results may not be used to intimidate, threaten, stalk, harass, or unlawfully discriminate against a person. Prohibited conduct may also violate criminal law. The Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry exists for public-safety notice, not blacklisting, vigilantism, or illegal discrimination, and misuse of registry information may result in penalties.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Meade County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create credit reports, background reports, or any other consumer report. The site's advertising providers likewise do not offer services designed to evaluate applicants, rental requests, insurance rates, or creditworthiness. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

• Make a hiring, dismissal, or other employment decision
• Evaluate a renter, tenant, or housing application
• Assess credit or establish an insurance price
• Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or public benefit
• Carry out any additional activity regulated by the FCRA

Any report needed for an FCRA-governed use must be obtained from a suitable provider that complies with the FCRA, never from this site.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing published here constitutes legal advice or decides how a warrant, charge, conviction, or Kentucky expungement law affects an individual matter. Advice about a particular case should come from an attorney licensed in Kentucky.

6. No Warranties

All site content and functions are supplied "as is," without a guarantee that:

• Access to the site will be continuous and uninterrupted
• The pages will contain no defect, error, or security weakness
• An outside search provider will return accurate or comprehensive results
